Intro to Open Educational Resources (OER)

Intro to Open Educational Resources (OER) In-Person

As part of International Open Access Week 2025, this workshop will serve as an introduction to open educational resources (OER), a growing element of Open Access. During the session, we will:

  • define open education resources (OER)
  • explain creative commons (CC) licensing
  • highlight the benefits OER can bring to PFW student learning, faculty pedagogical practice, and information equity on campus

We will also explore how to get started with OER and locate resources to incorporate OER materials into the classroom.

Registration for the workshop is encouraged so that you receive an event reminder, though it is not required to attend the workshop.
